Arabian Business Magazine – one of the most prominent economic magazines in the Middle East – released its most recent power list with the most influential Arabs in 2022. The power list recognizes and celebrates public sector figures, CEOs, founders and presidents, academia and financiers, healthcare leaders and entrepreneurs who are making a difference in the Arab world.

The list of Most Influential Arabs 2022 featured 7 Egyptians, including Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah, the only Egyptian athlete on the list, and 6 businessmen, who are; Eng. Naguib Sawiris, Founder of Orascom Telecom Holding and MD Director of Orascom Investment Holding ; Hatem Dowidar, CEO of Etisalat Group; Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, President and CEO of Tatweer Misr; Ashraf El-Afifi, President of Henkel in India, Middle East Africa; Elham Mahfouz, CEO of Commercial Bank of Kuwait; Mostafa Kandil, co-founder and CEO of Swvl.
The list’s selections are a reflection of contributions made by its members to society and their capacity to impact millions in the Arab world in their respective fields; and have therefore become leading and inspiring examples for young Arabs in the region.
