ALPHA MATAR ELEVATORS & ESCALATORS is planning for abroad expansion based on governmental support to export Egyptian industry
The Rwandan Ambassador to Egypt Dan Munyuza, made an official visit to “ALPHA MATAR “ factory, where he was welcomed by Eng. Ahmed Matar, the Vice Chairman, Eng. Ayman El Falaky, the factory manager, and Ahmed Sobhi, the company’s export manager.
The ambassador expressed his admiration within the high technical standards and distinguished engineering supervision in the factory, as well as the excellence of the final products produced by the factory, as he examined the manufacturing processes and quality of the elevator cabins and semi-automatic doors.
This visit also witnessed a discussion concerning cooperation and the presence of the company’s factory in Rwanda, as it is regarded a pivotal center for trade in Africa, especially within the factory’s excellence and its implementation of distinguished products capable of global competition, besides the ambassador also promised to nominate companies in Rwanda to cooperate with them in the field of elevators and escalators.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed Matar, ALPHA MATAR’s Vice Chairman, assured the importance of this visit and the ambassador’s praise of the excellence of the factory’s products, as it is a certificate to be proud of, besides this visit also reinforces the company’s plan for external expansion and investment in the field of elevators in Rwanda
He explained that his company was established in 1979 in the Egyptian market, and managed allover 45 years in occupying the forefront in the elevator and escalator sector, and thus became one of the major elevator companies in the Egyptian market, as it is the sole agent for the Italian brand “Montanari Giulio”, which is one of the largest 3 factories in the world in the field of elevators.
He noted that the company with a workforce of over 250 engineers and technicians, and manufactures elevator cabins and semi-automatic doors, and provides after-sales services along 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with providing original spare parts for the elevator, and the company succeeded in cooperating with leading consultants and designers in the Egyptian market, the most prominent of which were Hany Saad Innovation, Amira Khidr, and Tarrace Design House, besides cooperation with the biggest Consultants in Egypt such as Moharram Bakhoum and Mohammad El-Nimr Consulting.
He confirmed the company’s excellence in implementing work in various projects, whether commercial malls or residential compounds in the Fifth Settlement, 6th October, and Sheikh Zayed, as the company supplies and installs escalators and moving walkways as well, and the total area of the factory exceeds 4,000 square meters.
He referred to the importance of governmental support for companies that seek to expand in Africa, as it comes within the strong directions of the political leadership to expand in Africa and export Egyptian industries to the African continent, which achieves growth in the volume of business of Egyptian companies, praising the strong support that enhances the plans of the Egyptian companies to export their products and industry for African countries.
