UC Developments has signed a cooperation agreement to sponsor The Maker Academy, aimed at supporting and nurturing rare sports talents in Egypt, in collaboration with Captain Ahmed Hossam, the academy’s founder and supervisor.
Hadi Hamdy, CEO of UC Developments, highlighted that this agreement entails sponsoring the academy, primarily focused on scouting sports talents in football and assuming the responsibility of physically and psychologically training and preparing them for professional careers abroad.
Moreover, the company plans to establish a branch of the academy within its flagship residential project, “Suli,” the first golf compound in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
He emphasized that fostering an interest in sports from a young age contributes to nurturing a generation that is both physically and mentally robust, prompting the state to increasingly prioritize sports and back talented youth across various disciplines. This impelled the company to actively engage in supporting and enhancing this crucial sector while also exploring opportunities to bolster other sports fields, as well as sectors like industry and education, to amplify its societal contributions in the foreseeable future.
Hamed further outlined that The Maker Academy will be established in the residential project “Suli” as its initial phase, with plans to expand its footprint to upcoming projects. He underscored that since entering the Egyptian market, the company has been dedicated to delivering exceptional, innovative, and unparalleled services to its clientele, alongside offering a diverse range of real estate ventures in prime locations to enrich its investment portfolio.
Hamed noted that the company currently manages four projects in the NAC, encompassing residential, commercial, hospitality, medical, and mixed-use developments, namely “Uni Tower 1”, “Uni Tower 2”, “East Tower”, and “Suli” Project.
Additionally, the company is gearing up to unveil its fifth project in New Cairo in Q4 2024, in line with its strategic blueprint for expanding operations in the Egyptian market.
