ORA Iraq has awarded the construction contract for Phase One of Madinat Al Ward to CRC Dorra, marking a major milestone in the project’s development.
The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Naguib Sawiris, Chairman of ORA Developers, and Eng. Mohamed Dorra, Vice Chairman of Dorra Group.
The agreement reflects ORA’s commitment to working with leading contractors to deliver its vision for urban development in Iraq.
CRC Dorra to Begin Construction at Madinat Al Ward
The contract follows the completion of POWERCHINA’s assigned scope of work for Phase One. This scope included earthworks and ground preparation across the project site.
With these works completed, CRC Dorra is set to commence construction. The new phase builds on the progress already achieved at Madinat Al Ward.
The appointment also highlights ORA’s approach to selecting experienced partners. The company prioritizes technical expertise, proven track records, and strong delivery capabilities.
Dorra Group Brings More Than 80 Years of Experience
CRC Dorra serves as the contracting arm of Dorra Group, established in 1943. The group brings more than 80 years of experience in engineering and construction.
It operates across several Middle Eastern markets, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Iraq.
Its expertise covers residential, commercial, office, and hospitality developments. The group also provides design-and-build services for large-scale, integrated projects.
This experience supports CRC Dorra’s role in delivering the first phase of Madinat Al Ward.
