Big 5 Global Connects Egyptian Construction Industry with International Markets and Export Opportunities

With more than 1,800 exhibitors and 55,000 products, Dubai’s leading construction exhibition provides a platform for Egyptian manufacturers to showcase their capabilities and expand their international reach

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 4 November 2026: Big 5 Global 2026 will provide Egyptian construction manufacturers with opportunities to strengthen their international presence. The exhibition will also connect them with global buyers and potential business partners.
Construction and urban development projects continue to expand across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA). Consequently, reliable supply chains and efficient procurement remain essential to project delivery.
Big 5 Global will return to Dubai World Trade Centre from 23 to 26 November 2026. The exhibition expects more than 1,800 exhibitors from over 60 countries. Together, they will showcase 55,000 products, services, systems and solutions. International companies represent more than 70% of the exhibitor base, according to the organisers.
The event also comes at a time of growing opportunities in Egypt’s construction and infrastructure markets. According to Mordor Intelligence, Egypt’s infrastructure construction segment is forecast to record a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.3% between 2027 and 2032. This outlook points to opportunities across transport and infrastructure projects. It also highlights potential demand for construction materials and related solutions.
Supported by the Export Council for Building Materials, Refractories & Metal Industries, Egyptian participants include Egypt Expo & Convention Authority (EECA), Arkan for Plastic Industries, Red Sea Pipes and Smart Copper Industrial. The participating companies also include Block Industries Company, International Company for Insulation Technology (INSUTECH) and Al Alamia for Rockwool (Rockal).
Their participation highlights the diversity of Egypt’s manufacturing capabilities. These include construction materials, piping, insulation and industrial products. Furthermore, the exhibition offers opportunities to connect with international buyers and explore potential partnerships.
“Egypt and the UAE share longstanding trade and economic ties, with construction and building materials representing an important area of opportunity for businesses in both markets. As Egypt continues to develop its construction and infrastructure capabilities, engagement with regional markets creates opportunities for Egyptian manufacturers to expand their export reach and connect with new buyers. Participation at Big 5 Global enables Egyptian companies to showcase their capabilities, build relationships with international stakeholders and explore opportunities to contribute to construction projects across the region,” said Ahmed Abdelfattah, Executive Director, Export Council for Building Materials, Refractories & Metal Industries.

Strengthening Construction Supply Chains Across MEASA

Big 5 Global offers buyers, contractors and project teams access to an extensive international supplier base. As a result, visitors can explore procurement options and compare solutions across different stages of construction.
The exhibition covers several key sectors. These include construction materials, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) solutions, building interiors and finishes, prefabrication, fire and safety systems, infrastructure equipment and industrial construction products.
In addition, seven co-located events extend the exhibition’s sector coverage. They focus on heavy construction, concrete, marble and stone, urban design and landscape, HVACR, digital construction and geospatial technologies, as well as facilities management.
Together, these sectors address interconnected requirements across the built environment. They also enable industry professionals to compare solutions, diversify supplier networks and identify productivity-enhancing technologies throughout an asset’s lifecycle.
The international exhibitor line-up includes leading companies such as Liebherr, Bauer, Doosan, Zamil Steel and Anchor Allied. Other participants include Astral, Dutco Tennant, TOPWERK, MASA and RAKNOR. The wider exhibitor base also represents markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman.
Meanwhile, the 2026 edition will welcome several first-time exhibitors. These include Midea, Einhell, Reynaers, Innovo Group and Mulk Holding. Their participation will further expand the range of international companies represented at the exhibition.

Digital Technologies Supporting Construction and Project Delivery

Digitalisation continues to transform construction planning, project coordination and delivery. In particular, digital technologies offer opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility and control throughout the project lifecycle.
At Digital Construction World, exhibitors will include Premier Construction Software, Nemetschek Group, Leica, RIB Software and DJI Drones.
Their participation will highlight technologies and software solutions that support project coordination and information management. Moreover, these solutions can help project teams integrate decisions across different construction stages.
For developers, contractors, consultants and engineering firms, digital tools offer practical ways to manage complex projects. They can also improve operational efficiency and support more informed decision-making.

Exploring More Sustainable Construction Solutions

Resource efficiency and sustainable construction remain important priorities across the built environment. Accordingly, the industry continues to focus on low-carbon materials, waste reduction and building systems’ performance.
To support these priorities, the Big 5 Global Impact Trail will guide visitors through a dedicated route across the exhibition floor. The trail will highlight suppliers, products and insights that support more sustainable construction practices.
Participating exhibitors include NaturaSeal, which will showcase VOC-free, crack-bridging waterproofing membranes. Prime Middle East will present cooling refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP). Meanwhile, Deewan Equipment Trading will feature concrete reclaimers designed to reduce construction waste, among other solutions.
These examples demonstrate how manufacturers and suppliers are addressing resource efficiency. They also highlight technologies that can improve environmental performance across the construction industry.
“The next phase of growth across construction markets will be defined not only by the scale of development, but by how effectively the industry can deliver it,” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President, dmg events. “Resilient supply chains, technology adoption, sustainable solutions and workforce capability are inseparable from project performance. Big 5 Global connects these priorities in one place, giving regional stakeholders access to global suppliers, practical innovation and the partnerships needed to move projects forward with greater confidence and long-term value.”
