Rock Developments ACC Program has achieved remarkable success in its first cohort in Egypt, in collaboration with Sweden’s Helsjon Academy.
The initiative empowers young people with professional skills and personal development through hands-on, application-based learning, aligned with real-life job market demands.
Rock Developments is committed to supporting community and development initiatives across Egypt. Investing in youth is the cornerstone for sustainable development. Therefore, the company partnered with Swedish Helsjon Academy to implement the ACC Program in Cairo.
The first cohort is nearing graduation, showing strong indicators of student achievement. The program introduces an innovative, application-based learning model for practical professional skills. Students learn through hands-on training covering Arabic, English, mathematics, philosophy, geography, science, and computer science.
Eng. Parthena Doss, Board Member at Rock Developments, highlighted clear progress in student performance and growth. The current phase emphasizes practical application aligned with real-life job market needs. Students acquire vocational skills in carpentry, weaving, music, and accessory-making. Communication and presentation skills are taught in small groups for personalized learning.
Peter Landgren, Educational Director of Helsjon Academy, emphasized students’ improved confidence and teamwork abilities. The program prepares for a graduation ceremony, celebrating applied learning and youth empowerment. Rock Developments previously signed a cooperation agreement with Helsjon Academy to introduce the ACC Program in Egypt.
The initiative combines professional skills and personal development in an innovative, applied learning model. Rock Developments manages a diverse portfolio in Cairo, including Rock Gold, Rock Capital 1, Rock White, and Rock Green. Other projects include Rock Yard in Sheraton, Rock Eden in 6th of October City, and Rock Ville in Obour City. Rock Vera in Fifth Settlement is part of the portfolio, with additional developments awaiting announcement.
