Al Qamzi Developments Partners with Elsewedy Utilities for Electricity Distribution Solutions at Eastshire Project

Al Qamzi Developments has announced the formalization of a collaborative agreement with Elsewedy Utilities, the operational division of Elsewedy Electric, to provide and distribute electrical power for the electricity grid in the Eastshire project, owned by Al Qamzi Developments in the Fifth Settlement of New Cairo.

The partnership between Al Qamzi Developments and Elsewedy Utilities coincides with the swift progress of the Eastshire project, currently advancing through the delivery phases.
The signing ceremony was attended by Yasser Zidan, Chairman of Al Qamzi Developments, along with several key figures from the company, and representatives from Elsewedy Utilities including Sherif Shaalan, Managing Director; Hussein Fawzi, Business Development Director; and Ahmed El Nahrawy, Business Development Manager.
Per the terms of the contract, Elsewedy Utilities will assess and approve the designs of the electricity distribution network for both medium and low voltages in the Eastshire project. They will also undertake the management, operation, maintenance, and fault repairs of the electricity distribution network and associated tasks, from the main meter to individual subscriber meters.
Additionally, they will supply and distribute electrical power to project subscribers, issue monthly electricity bills through smart meters, and oversee bill collections.
Yasser Zidan, Chairman of Al Qamzi Developments, highlighted that the collaboration with Elsewedy Utilities, a prominent player in the electrical energy sector, reflects the company’s commitment to partnering with leading specialized entities to deliver top-tier products and services to its clientele.
He emphasized that Elsewedy Utilities will provide round-the-clock management, operation, maintenance, and fault repair services for the electricity distribution networks within the Eastshire project.
Sherif Shaalan, Managing Director of Elsewedy Utilities, noted that the partnership with Al Qamzi Developments aligns with the company’s strategy of collaborating with reputable firms possessing a clear vision for executing projects of the highest quality.
He stressed that this collaboration will advance sustainability efforts and introduce innovative solutions in electricity distribution.
