LG’s Award-winning Micro RGB evo Sets a New Standard for Triple Color Coverage with 100% BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB Intertek Certification
LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled the LG Micro RGB evo, a winner of the CES 2026 Innovation Awards. This display employs Micro RGB Technology with LG TV’s smallest individual RGB LEDs. It represents a major step forward from MiniLED technology.
The LG Micro RGB evo evolves Micro RGB technology significantly. It uses OLED precision to control each RGB LED backlight. This applies 13 years of LG OLED technical excellence to RGB displays.
The display is powered by the Dual AI Engine-based α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3. The processor features Dual Super Upscaling, handling two types of AI upscaling simultaneously. It enhances sharpness while delivering natural, balanced, and immersive images.
This processing power enables RGB Primary Color Ultra, delivering a full spectrum of color. LG Micro RGB evo achieves 100% color gamut coverage in BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB. Intertek certified its Micro RGB Ultra Fine Color Control, ensuring optimal accuracy for HDR cinema, digital editing, and next-generation displays.
The display also uses Micro Dimming Ultra, managing more than a thousand dimming zones with precision. It achieves high contrast, controlling brightness and color accurately. This reveals intricate details in both dark and bright scenes.
Beyond picture quality, LG enhances the customer experience. The webOS platform provides a personalized interface with Voice ID, AI Picture/Sound Wizard, and a tailored “My Page” home screen. An upgraded AI Concierge, AI Chatbot, and AI Search help customers explore content effortlessly.
