Aseel Developments New Mansoura, the real estate arm of Tamami Group for General Contracting, has officially launched its first project, Downtown, in New Mansoura city. Additionally, this launch reflects the group’s strategic expansion aligned with Egypt’s vision for sustainable urban development and fourth-generation cities.
The announcement took place during a ceremony at the Steigenberger El Lessan Hotel. Notably, attendees included members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, along with project partners and key stakeholders.
Eng. Walid Al-Tamami, Chairman of Tamami Group and Senator, emphasized that Egypt has fostered a strong investment environment. Moreover, infrastructure and sustainable development policies have enabled companies like Aseel Developments New Mansoura to deliver high-quality, large-scale projects.
He added that the launch builds on the group’s 30-year legacy in contracting and engineering consultancy. Originally founded in 1975 in Saudi Arabia, the group expanded into Egypt in 1989. Consequently, it has established a strong presence in the construction sector.
Eng. Walaa Elmy, CEO of Aseel Developments, highlighted that Downtown spans 11 acres as a mixed-use commercial and administrative development. Furthermore, it aims to provide modern services, entertainment, and investment opportunities for New Mansoura residents.
Downtown is designed to become the central hub of the city. In addition, it integrates retail, leisure, and office spaces. Elmy emphasized that the project reflects Aseel Developments New Mansoura’s vision to create landmark destinations and sustainable value for clients and investors.
Dr. Eman Salah, CEO of iBrand Business Consultancy, praised the collaboration with Aseel Developments New Mansoura. She explained that the project underwent a year-long planning process to align with international standards. Partners include BAAN Holding and Oscar Production Company’s Galaxy cinemas.
Eng. Mohamed Talaat, founder of MT Architects, explained that Downtown’s design blends modern architecture with operational efficiency. Additionally, the project features robust infrastructure, sustainable lighting and ventilation, and well-planned service and parking areas.
Mr. Ahmed Badr, Chief Commercial Officer at Aseel Developments, highlighted the project’s strategic location near New Mansoura University, Mansoura National University, and key residential compounds. Moreover, the development includes a hypermarket, retail spaces, banks, restaurants, cafés, a kids area, cinema, food courts, gym, coworking spaces, and a rooftop terrace.
Through Aseel Developments New Mansoura, Tamami Group aims to set a new benchmark in mixed-use, integrated, and sustainable developments across Egypt’s Delta region. Ultimately, the company seeks to enhance urban living and provide long-term investment value.
