Gulf Egypt Hotels and Tourism, a subsidiary of United Real Estate Company, announced a new ambitious expansion strategy. This announcement comes as the company marks 50 years of presence in the Egyptian market.

Additionally, United Real Estate Company serves as the real estate arm of Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO). It is considered one of the largest real estate companies in Kuwait, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Since its establishment in 1976, Gulf Egypt Hotels and Tourism has built a strong portfolio. It includes Hilton Cairo Heliopolis and Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis.
In addition, the company achieved a major milestone by introducing Waldorf Astoria to Africa for the first time. This was through its Cairo property, reinforcing its ability to attract global hospitality brands.
Engineer Tarek El Shazly, CEO of Gulf Egypt Hotels and Tourism, expressed pride in the company’s journey. He stated that celebrating 50 years reflects a long-term institutional vision.

Currently, the company’s portfolio includes around 840 luxury hotel rooms and suites. It also owns and operates one of Egypt’s largest conference and events centers.
As a result, it plays a key role in the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). Its assets provide integrated hospitality experiences supported by advanced technology.
