Entlaq and El Gouna partner to host SDR 2026 entrepreneurship summit in Egypt

SDR 2026 Summit will be hosted by Entlaq and El Gouna Red Sea by Orascom Development from September 10–12, 2026. Moreover, the event will bring together government leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and innovation ecosystem experts in Egypt.

Entlaq and El Gouna renew strategic partnership

For the second consecutive year, Entlaq and El Gouna Red Sea by Orascom Development announced signing a strategic partnership to host the fourth edition of the “Egyptian Entrepreneurship Sector Diagnostics Report” (SDR) 2026 Summit.
Moreover, the Summit will take place from September 10 to 12, 2026, in El Gouna. The event will bring together leading government decision-makers, investors, startup founders, and innovation ecosystem leaders from Egypt and the region.
Additionally, the Summit will be held under the theme “Data × Innovation: Re-imagining Egypt’s Entrepreneurship Landscape.”

The launch of the “Egyptian Entrepreneurship Sector Diagnostics Report 2026” continues Entlaq’s efforts to establish an annual data-driven reference for the entrepreneurship sector.
Moreover, the 2026 edition covers ten major economic sectors in Egypt. These sectors include FinTech, AI, HealthTech, AgriFood, CleanTech, EdTech, Tourism, Creative Economy, Logistics & Mobility, and Policy & Ecosystem Development.

International investors and startups to join SDR 2026

The SDR 2026 Summit aims to attract more than 500 attendees from over 12 countries. Additionally, participants will represent startups, founders, investors, venture capital funds, government entities, development finance institutions, multinational corporations, and international organizations.
The event will also feature participation from 15 to 20 international investors and more than 29 speakers. Moreover, the Summit officially launches on September 10, 2026, with the release of the SDR 2026 Report.
The opening day will include a high-level dialogue session featuring representatives from government entities, policymakers, regional and local investment funds, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.
In addition, the event will include an official reception ceremony. Throughout the three-day Summit, participants will attend specialized sector-focused sessions, networking activities, and partnership-building events.
Furthermore, exclusive investment events will connect leading regional and international venture capital funds with Egypt’s most promising startups.
