VALO Hospitality signs agreement with Qatar’s Retaj Hotels & Hospitality to operate RETAJ VALO Hotel at Solara

VALO Hospitality, a subsidiary of MG Developments, has partnered with Retaj Hotels & Hospitality to operate and manage the RETAJ VALO Hotel. The hotel represents the flagship hospitality component of the Solara development in Ain Sokhna. The partnership aims to enhance occupancy rates, optimize investment returns, and further increase the value of the project’s hospitality units.
Furthermore, the agreement leverages Retaj Hotels’ extensive experience in hotel and resort management. The company has a proven track record and a strong presence across the Gulf region. Through this collaboration, both companies aim to deliver a world-class hospitality experience. In addition, they seek to reinforce Solara’s position as a premier coastal destination.
H.E. Sheikh Nayef Bin Eid Al Thani, Chairman of Retaj Group of Companies, said that the Qatari group’s entry into the Egyptian market marks a significant strategic milestone. The expansion comes through managing the RETAJ VALO Hotel at the Solara development.
He described Egypt as one of the region’s most promising markets for tourism, hospitality, and hotel investment. Moreover, he added that the group views Egypt as a high-potential market with strong long-term growth fundamentals.
Al Thani noted that the partnership with VALO Hospitality reflects the group’s confidence in the Solara development. He attributed this confidence to the project’s prime location and fully integrated tourism and hospitality offerings. He also expressed confidence that the project is well positioned to become one of Ain Sokhna’s leading hospitality destinations.
Furthermore, Sheikh Nayef Bin Eid Al Thani said that Retaj will leverage its extensive experience across Gulf markets. The company will operate and manage the hotel through a professional hospitality model focused on service excellence, operational efficiency, and higher occupancy rates.
