Cityscape Egypt 2026 Steering Committee Shapes Real Estate Strategy in Egypt

The Cityscape Egypt 2026 Steering Committee held an official meeting with senior government officials, developers, and investors. The meeting focused on shaping a clear strategy to support Cityscape Egypt 2026 and drive real estate growth in Egypt.
Moreover, the committee worked on strengthening investment opportunities and supporting sustainable urban development. As a result, Cityscape Egypt continues to position itself as a leading platform for the sector.
Cityscape Egypt 2026 Steering Committee includes key industry leaders:
  • Eng. Khaled Abbas – Chairman and Managing Director, Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD)
  • Eng. Fathallah Fawzy – Chairman, Mena for Touristic Real Estate Consultancy
  • Dr. Ahmed Shalaby – Co-Founder, President and CEO, Tatweer Misr; Chairman, Egyptian Real Estate Council
  • Ayman Amer – General Manager, SODIC
  • Eng. Tamer Nassar – CEO, City Edge Developments
The committee discussed key priorities for Cityscape Egypt 2026, including boosting local and foreign investment. In addition, members focused on strengthening investor confidence and setting clear sector priorities.
Furthermore, discussions covered regional partnerships and cross-border investments. At the same time, the committee explored growth opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, and mixed-use developments.
They also highlighted the increasing importance of data centers and digital infrastructure. Consequently, Egypt could become a regional data hub connecting Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
The committee reviewed the preliminary agenda of the Cityscape Egypt 2026 Summit. The agenda focuses on global and regional economic shifts and their impact on Egypt’s real estate market.
In addition, the summit will highlight Egypt as a stable and attractive investment destination. This is especially important amid ongoing geopolitical challenges.
Robier Daniel – Exhibition Director, Cityscape Egypt – said the event will deliver a stronger and more inclusive platform.
He explained that Cityscape Egypt 2026 will connect all stakeholders in the real estate ecosystem. Moreover, it will focus on innovation and partnerships that drive sector growth.
Eng. Khaled Abbas – Chairman and Managing Director, ACUD – said the coming phase will shape the sector’s future.
He noted that regional developments will redefine market dynamics. Therefore, Cityscape Egypt 2026 plays a key role in strengthening public-private collaboration.
Dr. Ahmed Shalaby – CEO, Tatweer Misr – highlighted sustainability as a key pillar shaping the sector.
He added that data-driven investment and knowledge transfer will support innovation. In addition, Egypt’s population growth presents strong development opportunities.
Ayman Amer – General Manager, SODIC – said foreign direct investment and remittances remain key growth drivers.
He added that improved capital flow mechanisms will support the market. As a result, the sector is expected to transform over the next five years.
Eng. Tamer Nassar – CEO, City Edge Developments – said the sector is growing rapidly.
He explained that Cityscape Egypt helps showcase opportunities and strengthen partnerships. As a result, it supports the delivery of innovative real estate projects.
The 15th edition of Cityscape Egypt will take place from September 30 to October 3.
The event will feature more than 80 developers showcasing over 1,000 projects. Therefore, it reflects growing international confidence in Egypt’s real estate market.
