Rock Developments has announced that its flagship administrative project, Rock Capital 1, is fully prepared for operation. It is located in a prime area at the heart of the New Administrative Capital.
The official opening will take place soon. The project stands as the largest office landmark in the Governmental District, directly facing the Presidential Palace. The total investment value is EGP 3 billion.
Eng. Emad Doss, Chief Executive Officer of Rock Developments, confirmed that the company is preparing to operate Rock Capital 1 soon. The project spans one million square feet. It features a 200-meter-wide prestigious façade on Presidential Avenue.
The project enjoys a strategic location. It is just one minute from the Presidential Palace and the Central Bank. It is also two minutes from the monorail station, four minutes from the ministries and parliament district, and five minutes from the New Capital Airport.
Eng. Emad explained that Rock Capital 1 aims to set new standards for business life. It provides an environment that combines comfort, efficiency, and a modern lifestyle. Therefore, the development will redefine work, leisure, and business in Egypt.

He added that Rock Capital 1 is built on the largest land area granted to an administrative development in the New Capital. This unique position makes it a major hub for attracting international investment.

Doss highlighted that Rock Capital 1 is the first green-certified building ready to operate in the New Administrative Capital. This status strengthens its role as a pioneering business landmark in Egypt.
He pointed out that the design carries the global architectural signature of Hazel Wong, Executive Director of WSW Architects. Her renowned work includes Dubai’s Emirates Towers. She applied the same creativity to Rock Capital 1.
The project also features contributions from prestigious international engineering firms. These include Ted Jacob Engineering Group, Cracknell, and Engineering Consultants Group.
Eng. Doss emphasized that Rock Capital 1 stands out with its iconic design by Hazel Wong. She recently visited the project and praised the excellence and quality of execution in line with the approved design.
